They have a bit of a noise isolating quality which can be good, but can also be bad. This leads us to what people don’t like about these headphones, which is that they suffer from a muted high-end and muddled overall sound. The bottom line is that these are comfortable and are a reasonable step up from the stock earbuds that came with your iPod, but audio purists should steer clear if they’re looking for perfection. However, at a price point of roughly $20.00 this is about the best you can expect to get.

These have a white silicone ear bud and come in a set of three. They have a long, thin, durable white cord. The cord is not coiled and is not foldable. Included in with the headphones are a remote, microphone and two mesh caps. The mesh caps are made of stainless steel and help keep the speakers clean. These in-ear head phones have a unique design that implements intense bass and sharp crisp sound. They get even better because they also implement sound isolating features to block out outside sounds. This feature is simple but very helpful because outside sound can interfere with the way your music is heard. Including this technology creates the perfect environment for excellent sound levels. Other features are a microphone to record memos on Apple products and a remote control for volume, fast forwarding, rewinding, pausing and so forth. The remote is conveniently located on the headphone cord and is very small. Out of personal opinion the remote looks like part of the white-grey cord but upon further inspection users can see that the small grey area has controls. With they’re sleek appearance and beneficial features, these ear bud head phones are superb for Apple products. These earbuds are compatible with all iPod for audio listening but when it comes to the microphone and remote compatibility is limited. The remote and microphone are only adaptable with the iPod classic with 120Gb, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod nano 4th generation and iPhone 3GS. As the microphone for recording memos may not be adaptive with other models not stated above, the remote control does work with the iPod shuffle 3rd generation. In order to fully get these headphones to function with all the stated features, updated software for the above models is needed. 2.0.1 software is necessary for the iPod classic 120Gb to function properly, 2.2 or anymore recent software upgrades work with the iPod touch 2nd generation and 1.0.3 software versions are necessary for iPod nano 4th generation users. Apple In-Ear Headphones with remote and microphone also have high end qualities like 5Hz-21kHz of sound transcription and frequency, 23 ohms for powerful functioning and 109dB/Mw to exert powerful sound levels. These ear buds are designed to give off clear crisp sounds and promote easy functioning. Users state that they are durable, lightweight, come with two drivers for high sound levels and are a good value for the price. These make great gifts and you can also find them pretty much at any electronic store and/or Apple store. They generally retail for about $80.00.

These are an upgraded model of the regular Backbeat Noise Isolating Ear Bud headphones. They have a 46” black cord and clear ear molding ear buds. These in-ear headphones are light weight and easy to conceal when in public. They come complete with a six piece ear bud kit to change sizes for various users and ear sizes and a SnugFit design to help conform to users comfort level. These ear buds are excellent for high endurance activities like hitting the gym or simple tasks like riding the subway. They block out background noise for crisper and clearer tones. This product comes with a gold 3.5mm connector and is compatible with laptops, most mp3 players, iPods and iPhones. These headphones also feature 30Hz-18.5kHz for killer frequency response and sound transcription, 106 dB for a powerful but extra sensitive sound and 16 ohms of impedance. Most users have reviewed that this product has excellent sounds quality, a durable cord and comfortable fit. Yet others say that the cord rubs against clothing and the item isn’t worth its value. Overall most enjoy these earbud headphones and would recommend them to a friend. If you have $50.00 to spend and want great bass and pitch with a sleek look then these are for you. They are wonderful as a gift and can be purchased at most electronic stores.

These come in a variety of colors including white, pink, purple, orange, blue, green and yellow. They come with 10.7mm drivers for the best sound quality and a 3.5mm gold plated connector. They also have three different rubber bud sizes to adjust for ear size and are very comfortable. Another reason these earbuds outshine other brands is because of the loop around bud design. This product comes with a 4′ cord that is not coiled and is not foldable. The cord is thin, flexible, durable and easily concealed. This product is a hot commodity because it is compatible with the iPhone. Some features of Audio-Technica Ear Bud Headphones are that they feature 14Hz-24,000Hz for excellent transcription ability and 104dB/mW at 1kHz for the clearest and strongest sound. Other important features of these earbud head phones are that they exert 200mW to ensure high quality functioning and 16 ohms for speed and power. This product is not sound isolating but is noise canceling. The difference isn’t much but basically they assist in making the sounds crisp and sharp by blocking as much outside noise out as possible. Although you are not likely to go swimming with your in-ear headphones, if you are interested in being near water, a warning to you all, these are NOT waterproof. And if you are curious, yes, there are actually waterproof earbud head phones now. So you can definitely get them. These headphones are not cheap as they run $70.00 retail but they are very effective and can be purchased at most electronic dealers/stores. They would be a great gift for someone 25 and up.
